Review: The Gray Man (Court Gentry #1) by Mark Greaney

The Gray Man - Mark Greaney

This book was just what I needed to feel excited about books again.

What I liked:  Nonstop action and betrayal.  The flow of the writing in The Gray Man was fantastic.  I got so involved in the story that I completely lost track of time.  My eyes seemed to be a little tired and I glanced at the clock, it was 1 in the morning and I still didn't want to stop.

I really enjoyed how Mr. Greaney put the hero, Court, in different "no win" situations but found believable ways for him to resolve his trouble.  Even though Court is a legend, he's not infallible.  He gets injured, tired and, he gets even.

I could actually find the storyline believable with today's politics and backstabbing.  Mr Greaney's a great story teller without being too over the top.

What I didn't like:  I really hate that Mr. Greaney doesn't have a larger back list.  I hope he writes fast!!

The prices for the Kindle and paperback are comparable to others at $7.99 and $8.99 respectively.

Highly recommend for thriller readers!!
