Review: River Road by Jayne Ann Krentz
A quick easy read!
What I liked: Ms Krentz has gotten back to her roots with the romantic suspense, River Road. It's all that you love about her books. The characters drive the story, even the ones no longer living. I love Lucy's character. She's smart, spunky and funny. Mason is the perfect compliment too. If you've read Ms Krentz before, you know more or less what to expect. But, if you haven't, you're in for a treat. The bad guys are there if you pay attention but not easily picked out. I was so lost in the story, I missed the clues, which is a good thing.
What I didn't like: I can't say I didn't like anything. I knew what to expect and knew I could put it down and take a break.
Ms Krentz is one of my go to authors when I need an entertaining read. I wasn't disappointed. The good part, this is a stand alone novel so no playing catch up.
Currently this is available in hardcover at $16.31 and to me the Kindle is priced high at $10.65. If you're a hardcore Jayne Ann Krentz fan, get the hardcover, if not, check it out at the library.
